Your Heart Team~

What do a Vegetarian Ayurvedic Chef, a Heart Centered Yoga Teacher,  and an Art Therapist have in common?

They are all going to Support you and your Sweet Heart in a Sacred Journey of Healing LOVE this October in Loreto, Baja, Mexico.

Ayurvedic Chef and Retreat Director- Hila Granger

Hila Granger has created this retreat centered around the heart. Her source of inspiration came from a personal experience with her family. It struck a chord deeply and she knew she must share the continual journey of letting go and embracing the LOVE that this human experience is all about. She has always loved Baja and wanted to bring that sacred desert ocean space to great souls who are ready to participate in their own healing. Activating not just the physical heart through proper food choices, she seeks to help the ones she feeds and teaches, to reclaim the emotional and spiritual heart with sincere dedication and integrity. Once you get a taste of this LOVE, everything else falls away....

For this retreat, Hila will be focusing on foods that help support and heal the heart. You will learn the physical aspects through foods good for the circulatory and nervous systems. On an esoteric level, we will open our hearts to the more subtle energies of  how mantra, prayer, environment, and intent all deeply nourish our heart to open to Love.

Hila has been making yummy, innovative, and sultry food creations for vegetarians, people with dietary concerns, and the health conscious since 2006. She started her business, Veggietemptress in 2009 and has had the opportunity to work at Ashrams, Yoga Retreats, Workshops, as well as Holiday, Birthday and Wedding parties. In the last few years, she has cultivated an emerging desire to improve health and awareness through food. Taking note of this, she feels it is her dharma to teach and to create a new future where we are ALL connected to Nature once again.

Hila is currently a Vegetarian Chef, a Certified Ayurvedic Educator, and Massage Therapist

Heart Yoga Teacher- Laura Brown

Laura has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and has been teaching since 2009, after receiving her 200 hour teacher certification. Her classes are dynamic, empowering, and expansive. Through challenging asana and deep introspection, Laura guides her students to their perceived edge in order to help them realize that they are more than just their physical bodies. She sees the body as a tool in which to learn about oneself and experience transformation through discipline, studentship and devotion.
"The gift of yoga can only be found in the doing of yoga. According to Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, 'Yoga is 99% practice and 1% theory. Practice and all is coming.'"

At Heartsong Retreat, Laura will be focusing on compassion for ourselves, meeting ourselves where we are, allowing the seeds to be planted in our heart, so the lotus can fully awaken and bloom in its own time and gentle way.

Art Therapist- Kathryn Frazee

Kathryn is a soul searcher, a truth seeker, and a grateful traveler on the road of life. She sees beauty in all and feels it in every cell of her body amidst expressions of nature. She deepened her devotion through tangible and  dynamic forms of healing and rejuvenation. In each modality she provides, her focus is  working on stress reduction, relaxation, and well being. These offerings bring about the restoration of balance. Deeply connected to expression through art, beauty and therapy, seeing through eyes of alignment, Kathryn uses an integrated approach. She customizes the sessions with her clients based on breakthroughs and resistance. She holds creative space for her clients allowing that spark of remembrance to the Heart, to connect overall wellness through the grace of the body, mind, and spirit.

At Heart Song, Kathryn will be utilizing Art as the creative process to align. She is a creator of intentional body adornment, believing everyone is a student of heART therapy in their own way.
